VIDEO WORK

For all of the videos below, I filmed and edited them with my own personal lighting, microphones, cameras, and software.

HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCEMENT

HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCEMENT

This video is an advertisement for MHISC’s South Carolina Manufactured Housing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. For this video, I set up lighting, microphone, and camera to film members of the Hall of Fame induction committee as they talked about the inductee, edited the videos in adobe premiere, and worked with stock video licensing rights for the background and end graphics. I also narrated the video’s ending and beginning. This video was cut to fit the ideal size and length to embed into a Facebook post to advertise the meeting.

PSAR FILM

I partnered with rangers at Congaree National Park to produce a Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR) film about hiking preparedness. The script was written by the park rangers, but filming, lighting, editing, and audio dubbing was done exclusively by me. In addition to the normal challenges that come with filming a project on this scale, I worked closely alongside the National Park Service to follow the strict guidelines that federal organizations have for external communication. These include working with an ADA specialist to ensure the video had properly encoded closed captions that were formatted to work with accessibility devices, receiving and documenting media release forms for publishing the video, and following content guidelines that represent the mission of the park service.
